"Army" Armstrong. My father, Army Armstrong, and mother, Clara Armstrong were long time S.C. members. We took many trips especially after the war. Army was a geologist. He lectured at campfires in the David Brower era. My mother took her grandchildren on later trips. We camped several years at Mineral King in the 1930s. They made many friends on the S.C. trips. Friends: Eliz and Morgan Cuthbertson - Atty, Ansel Adams, Albert Marshall, artist, Dot Pepper, teacher, Bill Davies, landscape architect, Cedric Wright, photographer, I worked in the 1952 Commissary with Charlotte Mauk & Ted. The maiden name was Judy Armstrong. It was an unforgettable experience. My sister, Sally, also worked in 1950 (?) Commissary. Sincerely, Mary (Judy) Tuverson.
